What is this site?

Xamcram is a site that allows you to practise MCQ’s and EMI’s for the membership exams. At the moment we are limited to questions on MRCPsych. 1 and MRCS 2. We are hoping to add to this very soon and have questions and detailed answers for both parts of these specialities as well as other subjects.

Should I use Xamcram?

Only if you like passing exams. No, really - studying on the internet can be a welcome change from book learning. It’s that much closer to playing a medical version of ‘World of Warcraft’ - hopefully as addictive too.

Why is this site different?

We are hoping to turbo-charge the learning process by incorporating some remarkable web 2.0 features like tags and live discussions. We want the site to grow organically and have the users participate in their own learning as much as they possibly can.

Why is this site free?

Because we are truly selfless altruistic doctors who want to create an enjoyable learning experience for those doing membership exams. OK so we hope to make the site commercial one day. But that’s more of a long term plan. At the moment we are content having some fun with this by incorporating some great new features and building a quality question bank.
